Parent Volunteers are Welcome Here!

Would you like to get to know your child's school better?

Would you like to get to know the teachers here at LMS?

Do you have 30 minutes to spare during the week? 

If you answered yes to those questions, then you would love volunteering at our school.  We could use volunteers to help with shelving books, making copies for teachers, as well as helping out in the library.

This would be a great way to get into the school and see all the great things that are going on here at LaBelle Middle.

If you would like to volunteer, please come into the office and get a visitor pass.  Then ask for Mrs. Mayo and she will further assist you.

LaBelle Middle School is a Title I school which means our school receives federal funds for the following:

• Title I, Part A- provides supplementary supplies and materials for increasing student achievement. It Provides funds for professional development, after school programs, and parental involvement activities.  This part also provides funds for computer hardware and software.
• Title I, Part C- provides funds for supplementary services for migrant students and their families.
• Title II- provides funds for reading coaches and professional development for teachers.
• Title III- provides funds for enhancing language acquisition for ELL students.
• Title VI-provides funds for professional development, curriculum mapping, and after school programs.

We at LaBelle Middle School are committed to the concept that "All students will achieve." Therefore, the mission of LaBelle Middle School is to develop relationships where students enjoy high levels of support and also support others in a mutually beneficial learning relationship; to develop a rigorous and relevant framework with ongoing assessments in order to educate children for tomorrow's challenges; and to provide an environment that is safe and conducive for learning.
