• Students scoring below proficient on the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) will be scheduled in and Intensive Reading and/or Math class.  

Reading Interventions

    Reading Interventions include:
    Enrollment in and Intensive Reading Class with a Certified Reading Teacher
    Cycling curriculum that reviews the required state standards and competencies
    Placement testing and progress monitoring
    Differentiated Instruction
    SAT and ACT prep 
    Level 2 students may be placed with a Certified Content Area Reading (CAR) teacher  in a core class.
    11th and 12 grade students will be enrolled in reading until a passing score is achieved, or a concordant score of 19 on the ACT, or 430 on the SAT tests in the Reading subtest.

Math Interventions

    Math Interventions include;
    Placement in Intensive Math course
    Scheduling Algebra 1A and 1B classes (2 year course completion)
    Assistance in scheduling course progression
    FSA EOC test review sessions 
    After school peer tutoring 
    Students must pass the Algebra EOC with a 399 or have a concordant score  of a 97 on the PERT test
