The Hendry County School District’s Parent Liaison plays a crucial role in connecting families, schools, and the Hendry County School District (HCSD). This position is dedicated to promoting effective communication and fostering meaningful family engagement to support every student's academic journey. The parent liaison fosters collaboration between families, schools, and school staff that encourages positive partnerships that have a positive impact on a student’s overall school experience. The parent liaison also coordinates with the FDLRS Heartland parent specialist and the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and student support services director to facilitate parent education opportunities that align with the HCSD mission and goals. As a district employee, the Parent liaison, serves as a resource and facilitator for communication and collaboration. The parent liaison doesn’t serve as a legal representative for parents and families; they are solely a resource that promotes collaboration and parent engagement.
