Sharnett Palmer
I have always had a deep passion for working with students with different educational needs and working through the process of identifying and addressing those needs. For this reason, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Social Work was an easy decision when I began college. Inspired by my migration from Jamaica to the United States, I discovered that psychology and education are inseparable, which is why I became fascinated with School Psychology. I am a state certified School Psychologist who has the great privilege of assisting students in reaching their fullest potential socially, behaviorally, emotionally, and academically at school, home, and within their communities for the past eight years. As a School Psychologist, I believe one of my main function is to help students unlock the possibilities that lie within themselves.
