HCSD Visitor Management

Ensuring the safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. In our ongoing efforts to enhance campus security and streamline our visitor management processes, we are excited to announce the implementation of a new Visitor Management System, powered by Navigate360.

What is the Visitor Management System?

The Visitor Management System is a digital tool designed to enhance our ability to monitor and track visitors on campus. This system will allow us to efficiently check in and check out visitors, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate records of all individuals entering our school.

Why is this important?

  1. Enhanced Security: By digitally tracking visitors, we can quickly identify who is on campus in the event of an emergency, ensuring a more efficient and effective response.
  2. Streamlined Check-In Process: The new system will reduce wait times and streamline the visitor check-in process, making it easier and quicker for you to enter our campus.

  3. Accurate Records: The system will maintain detailed records of visitor activity, helping us monitor and manage campus access more effectively.

How will it work?

  • Upon Arrival: Visitors will be greeted by a staff member who will guide them through the check-in process at a designated kiosk or tablet.
  • Identification: Visitors will be asked to provide a valid ID, which will be scanned into the system.
  • Visitor Badge: Once checked in, visitors will receive a badge that must be worn at all times while on campus.

  • Check-Out: Upon leaving, visitors will check out through the system.

     

What do you need to do?

Starting August 2026, please be prepared to use the new system when visiting the school. We recommend arriving a few minutes earlier than usual to accommodate the check-in process.
