Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Robin Jones
Welcome to Country Oaks Elementary! We believe in family and building relationships to support each and every student. Teachers are the most important part of your child's education, and we have the best. This coming year we will begin our second year with the Leader in Me program, which means students are expected to be leaders and take charge their learning. Students deserve a quality education, and we want them to understand that they are an intregal part of making that happen. Our flagship year with Leader in Me has been slow, as we want to have a solid foundation and build from there. You can see a sense of pride as they chart their own progress and set personal goals. Our teachers work incredibly hard to reinforce positive behavior and reward hard work throughout the year. I believe that it has been a positive part of our school grade increase from a "C" to a "B".
As always, we encourage parents to be an active part of their child's education. Our success depends on your support. I know that life can be hectic, but taking a few minutes to read to your child and discuss their day will help you both unwind and create memories you will cherish forever. We will continue our monthly PTO meetings on the third Thursday of the month. We usually present information on current events, or share ways parents can help from home. We have some extra things on the docket this year, and we hope to see you there.
I look forward to continuing to work with you and your children. Thank you for trusting us with your child's education. My door is always open, if you have any questions about your child's education.

Mr. Ryan Harris
Dear Colt Family,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at Country Oaks Elementary. I am proud to become a member of the Colt community and look forward to assisting Mrs. Jones towards another successful school year.
I began my professional career teaching and coaching at LaBelle Middle after graduating from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in 2011 and moving to Florida from the greater Philadelphia region. With the strong desire to lead and increase my sphere of influence, I returned to graduate school in 2015 and earned my Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Florida in 2017. Most recently, I served roles as both a Dean and Athletic Director at LaBelle High School.
After working the last six years of my professional career for the Hendry County School District, I have built many strong relationships and ties to the people and community of LaBelle. I am eager to have the opportunity continue this work and help strengthen this community by Growing Successful Leaders at Country Oaks Elementary.
I look forward to meeting and partnering with you this school year to accomplish this mission. My door is always open if you have questions or concerns.
