    Attention Student Athletes,
Students who choose to play sports during the 2020-2021 school year need to go on to nfhslearn.com and create an account. Then they need to complete three courses (Concussion in Sports, Heat Illness Prevention, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest). These courses must be completed before students can participate in any workouts or practices. This must be done along with the physical and consent forms. Click on the following link for the sportds physical and consent forms.

    Physical Form: https://www.fhsaa.org/forms/general-forms/general-eligibility/el2.

    Consent Form: https://www.fhsaa.org/forms/general-forms/general-eligibility/el3

Students can take advantage of this time and get these things done early. Once students have their completed physical and consent form, and they have completed all of the required nfhslearn course, they can drop off their printed certificates to the front office.

    Remind: School Communication App

We would like to inform you that LaBelle Middle School uses the Remind app as a way to stay in touch and up to date with parents and guardians.

Remind is a free, safe messaging app that keeps families up to date with what's happening in the classroom. Teachers can send messages to an entire class, smaller groups, or individuals. These quick, simple messages can help you and your student(s) stay informed.

If you haven't already received the sign-up paper from your child's teacher please either have your child request a new one, or feel free to contact your child's teacher.

Important Resources for the 2019-2020 School Year

  • We have many students at LMS that enjoy

reading. We would like to share the following

ways they can continue to read

    from home during distance learning.

    Open eBooks

Open eBooks, through First Book, offers a huge collection of eBooks to our LMS students.

                                                                                                  First Book

    From the First Book website:

"Thanks to your child’s educator/librarian, you are now able to download and use the Open eBooks app for free. With this app, you and your child can access a library of thousands of popular and award winning eBooks for free! We hope the Open eBooks app helps you to further support and engage in your child’s learning and foster their love of reading beyond the classroom."  Internet access is necessary to download up to 10 books at any one time, but books may be read offline on the device or phone once downloaded.

Mrs. Moore, LMS Library Media Specialist, will be happy to send the instructions, codes, and pins to anyone, student or staff, who emails her directly asking for one.  She will also send a code and pin to parents/guardians on behalf of their child if they email her a request and include their child’s name and grade level in their email.  Each code and pin is unique.
